Star Wars: Force Arena Wiki

The community encyclopedia for Star Wars: Force Arena (SWFA) and its fan revival, Force Arena Reborn. Every leader, every card, every game mode and every system, with the real numbers from the game files and a guide for each.

About the game

Star Wars: Force Arena, often shortened to SWFA or SW: Force Arena, is a real-time strategy card battler for mobile. Netmarble made it with Lucasfilm and released it worldwide on January 12, 2017, after a soft launch under the name Star Wars: Battlegrounds. You pick a leader, build a deck of 7 cards, then deploy units and support cards into a short lane battle. The goal is to knock out your opponent's turrets and shield generator so an airstrike can finish their base.

The official servers closed in 2019. In 2026 the game came back as Star Wars: Force Arena Reborn (SWFAR), a free, fan-run revival with no purchases and no ads, for Android, Windows and iPhone. Everyone starts with every leader and card, so matches come down to deck building and skill.

Play safe: only download the game from forcearena.net, and never pay anyone to install it. Install steps for every platform.

Leaders

There are 46 leaders, 23 on each side. Each one has a skill, five perk tiers and a matching Unique card. Gold-marked leaders have a full guide with every perk and the real numbers. The rest open their card stats.

Light Side leaders

Dark Side leaders

Want the short version? Every leader and their Unique card on one page, the community tier list, and who beats who in leader matchups.

Cards and units

Every card has a cost in energy, a side, an era and a type. Units are organic or tech, and many effects only hit one or the other, which is why it matters for counters.

TypeCountWhat they do
Leaders46Your hero on the field. Respawns when defeated.
Unique units40Named heroes and villains, one per deck.
Units66Troopers, droids, creatures, walkers and fighters.
Support cards24Grenades, air strikes, buffs and stuns.
Structures4Placeable defenses.

There are six eras: Galactic Empire, Rebel Alliance, Galactic Republic, Separatists, First Order and Resistance. A handful of grenades, traps and turrets belong to no era and fit any deck on their side. How each side and era plays: factions and eras. Look up any card's cost, health, attack and ability in the card stats database.

Community and guilds

Guilds share card donations, run 2v2 Friendly Matches and team up on guild missions. In Reborn you can join a guild from Tier 1, the day you start. How guilds work.

Looking for one? JEDI is the open community guild for this hub: free card donations every 6 hours, 2v2 partners and a Discord. Search JEDI in game.
