How to play Yoda
Yoda is small, fast and very hard to hit. A quarter of all attacks simply miss him, and his Telekinesis throws a 350% hit across the lane. Pair him with Mace Windu and you have the strongest Jedi duo in the game. Here's how his kit works, with the numbers from the game files.
At a glance
| Side and era | Light Side · Galactic Republic |
|---|---|
| Type | Organic · Melee |
| Health (level 1) | 1,144 |
| Attack (level 1) | 95 |
| Max level | 8 (every perk is open by level 7) |
| Unique card | Mace Windu · 6 energy |
| Skill | Telekinesis, 45 second cooldown |
| Passive | Force Attunement (25% dodge) |
| Attack | Fast lightsaber flurry with a dash |
His kit, explained
- Skill: Telekinesis (45 second cooldown). Yoda lifts heavy objects with the Force and throws them at the enemy for 350% damage. It's one of the biggest single hits a leader has, on a long cooldown, so make it count.
- Passive: Force Attunement. Yoda dodges 25% of attacks, rising to 29% with his fourth perk. With only 1,144 HP, dodging is how he survives.
- Mace Windu, his Unique. Six energy, 1,727 HP. He damages the area where he lands, then dashes at the nearest enemy for a powerful blow. Expensive, but he wins fights on his own.
- Fast attacks. Yoda's basic attacks come out quickly with a dash, so he's good at finishing low units.
- Weak spot: area damage and stuns ignore dodge. A grenade or air strike hits him every time.
Perks and when they unlock
Perks unlock as the leader levels up and cost Perk Points and Credits. Leaders max out at level 8, and the fifth perk needs level 7, which is why so few players have seen a fully perked leader yet.
| Perk | Unlocks at | What it does | Perk Points | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Level 1 | Reduces Dash cooldown by 20%. His dash comes back 20% faster. | 1,000 | 6,000 |
| 2 | Level 3 | Increases Attack Power by 8%. Simple damage boost. | 3,450 | 10,000 |
| 3 | Level 4 | Increases Health by 8%. More health for a fragile leader. | 8,500 | 16,000 |
| 4 | Level 5 | Dodge Rate +4%. Dodge goes from 25% to 29%. | 16,000 | 32,000 |
| 5 | Level 7 | Decreases cooldown by 8 seconds. Telekinesis every 37 seconds instead of 45. The biggest upgrade to his damage. | 31,750 | 136,000 |
| All five perks | 60,700 | 200,000 | ||
Game plan
- Save Telekinesis for the leader or a clump. With a 45 second cooldown, a 350% throw should either finish the enemy leader or wipe a squad.
- Mace Windu is your swing card. Drop him on the enemy push. His landing blast clears space and then he dashes in.
- Build cheap around Windu. Mace costs 6, so keep everything else cheap to afford him.
- Let them miss. Yoda can stand in front of ranged units that would kill other small leaders. Keep him away from grenades and air strikes.
- Keep four Republic cards. Yoda, Mace Windu, ARC Troopers and Clone Troopers are all Galactic Republic, which is enough to turn on the era bonus: squads deal 4% more attack.

How to beat Yoda
- Use area damage. Grenades, air strikes and splash units ignore his 25% dodge.
- Stun him. Stuns land regardless of dodge, and he's fragile once he stops moving.
- Bait Telekinesis. Once it's on its 45 second cooldown, his damage drops a lot.
- Answer Mace Windu cheaply. Windu costs 6. If you trade him down with cheap units, you're ahead on energy.
