Find your guild.
A guild gives you free cards every few hours, team rewards, practice matches and people to learn from. This guide covers why to join, how to find a guild in the game, on Discord and in the SWFAR Facebook group, and how to run your own.
Search JEDI in game and join
JEDI is the home guild of the SWFAR Facebook group, run by the group admin. If you're looking for a guild that donates every day, teams up for 2v2 and helps newer players learn, start here. All ranks welcome, Light and Dark Side players alike.
- Open the game. Guilds are open from Tier 1 in Reborn, so you can join on day one.
- Tap Guild in the left menu of the main screen to open the Guild List.
- Search for JEDI by name.
- Tap Join Instantly. JEDI is a Public guild, so there's no application and no wait.
- Say hi in guild chat, set your first card request and donate to a guildmate.
- Post your in-game name in the JEDI thread on the forum or the Friday Guild Recruiting thread in the SWFAR group so the guild knows who you are.
Why join a guild
Free cards on a timer
Every 6 hours you can request a card from your guild. Guildmates send you up to 20 copies of a Common or 5 of a Rare per request, depending on your tier. That's the fastest way to level the cards in your main deck.
Guild Mission packs
Everyone in the guild works on shared goals: destroying turrets and Shield Generators, defeating leaders and defeating units. Each goal has 10 stages, and every stage the guild clears pays a Guild Mission Pack to members who pitched in.
Practice with no risk
Friendly Matches let you play guildmates 1v1 or 2v2 with card levels set equal for both sides. No Rating Points are lost, so it's the best place to test a new deck.
A team for 2v2
Start a 2v2 Friendly Match from guild chat, or team up with a guildmate in Arcade 2 vs 2. Both are unranked for now, and your guildmates are ready-made partners.
Guild chat and replays
Chat with your guild, see who is online and share your match replays with them for advice. Replay sharing only works if you're in a guild.
Guild rank
Your guild climbs a top 200 list built from members' Rating Points, card donations, Arcade wins and Friendly Matches. Ranked seasons reset every Monday.
The SWFAR Facebook group
The Star Wars™: Force Arena Reborn Facebook group is where the community lives between matches. Players post tips, news, strategies and decks as they happen, and it's the easiest place to find a guild or recruit for yours. When the game changes, players there are usually the first to figure out what it means.
- Join the group at facebook.com/groups/starwarsforcearena and answer the membership questions, including your in-game name.
- Say hello in the new member intro post so people know who you are and what side you play.
- Find the pinned Monday or Friday post in Featured and reply using one of the templates below.
- Turn on notifications for the group so you catch news, patch talk and guild openings as they're posted.

How to join a guild in the game

- Tap Guild in the left menu of the main screen to open the Guild List.
- Search by name if a guild from the Facebook group or Discord invited you, or use Filter and Sort to find guilds in your language.

| Guild type | How you get in |
|---|---|
| Public | Join Instantly, no approval needed |
| Apply to Join | Send an application; the Guild Leader or a Captain approves it |
| Private | Not open to applications |
Card requests and donations
This is the biggest reason to be in a guild. Request a card every 6 hours (a request stays open for 24 hours), and donate your spare copies to guildmates. Higher tiers can ask for more and give more.
| Your tier | Commons per request | Rares per request | You can give per request (Common / Rare) | Daily donation limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Duracrete | 5 | 1 | 1 / 1 | 40 |
| 2 Carbonite Challenger | 6 | 1 | 2 / 1 | 45 |
| 3 Carbonite | 9 | 2 | 3 / 1 | 55 |
| 4 Durasteel Challenger | 10 | 2 | 3 / 1 | 65 |
| 5 Durasteel | 12 | 2 | 4 / 1 | 70 |
| 6 Bronzium Challenger | 14 | 3 | 4 / 1 | 85 |
| 7 Bronzium | 15 | 3 | 5 / 1 | 90 |
| 8 Chromium Challenger | 16 | 3 | 5 / 1 | 95 |
| 9 Chromium | 17 | 4 | 5 / 1 | 100 |
| 10 Aurodium Challenger | 18 | 4 | 6 / 1 | 105 |
| 11 Aurodium | 19 | 4 | 6 / 1 | 110 |
| 12 Kyber Challenger and up | 20 | 5 | 6 / 1 | 120 |
- Request the card you're closest to upgrading in your main deck. Commons stack up fastest; Rares are worth more per copy.
- Epics, Uniques and Legendaries can't be requested. Those come from packs and rewards.
- Donate every day. Guilds rank partly on donations, and active donors get filled first in most guilds.
Guild missions
Guild Missions are co-op goals that run each season. Every match you play adds to the guild total for three tracks:
- Destroy enemy turrets or Shield Generators
- Defeat enemy leaders
- Defeat enemy squad units
Each track has 10 stages. Clearing a stage unlocks a Guild Mission Pack, and the pack scales with your tier. You only get rewards if you contribute at least a small minimum yourself, so a few matches each season is enough to collect. An active guild clears far more stages than a quiet one, which is another reason to pick a guild where people play every day.
Friendly Matches
Open guild chat, tap Friendly Match, pick 1v1 or 2v2 and your deck, and wait on Standby for a guildmate to join. Card and turret levels are set equal for both sides, so it's pure skill:
| Rarity | Level in Friendly Matches |
|---|---|
| Common | 9 |
| Rare | 6 |
| Epic | 3 |
| Unique and Legendary | 1 |
Wins and losses don't change your Rating Points, and there are no rewards. Use Friendly Matches to learn a new leader, test a deck from the deck builder or practice a matchup that keeps beating you.
Discord
- The Reborn Discord is run by the game's developers. Patch notes, bug reports and download help go there first.
- Use voice for 2v2 and Friendly Matches. There's no text chat in battle, so voice is the only way to call plays in real time.
- Give your guild its own Discord channel or server and post the link in your guild notice and your Facebook recruiting post.
- Put your Discord handle in your Facebook posts so guild leaders can reach you quickly.
Start your own guild
- Save 30,000 Credits. That's the cost to create a guild in the game files. Creating a guild is open from Tier 1 in Reborn.
- Pick a name of 2 to 14 English characters.
- Set the guild type (Public, Apply to Join or Private), the minimum Rating Points, and your language.
- Write a guild notice with your play times, your Discord link and the SWFAR Facebook group, so every new member knows where the community is.
- Recruit in the Friday Guild Recruiting post in the SWFAR Facebook group using the guild leader template above.
- Promote active members to Guild Captain so they can approve applications when you're offline.
What makes a good guild
- Active every day. Check the Last Login column in the member list before you join.
- Same language and similar time zone, so someone is online when you want a Friendly Match.
- Donates generously. A guild that fills requests is worth more than a guild with a high rank.
- Has a Discord or a group chat and posts in the SWFAR Facebook group, so you hear about events and patches.
