Privacy policy
We collect as little as possible. No accounts and no ads. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help players most, with advertising features turned off. The only personal information we receive directly is what you choose to type into the contact form.

1. Who we are
The Force Arena Reborn Hub at swfar.com (the "Site") is a free, unofficial fan site run by LordSkunk ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Site handles and why. It applies only to this Site, not to the game, forcearena.net, Discord, Facebook or any other site we link to.
2. What we collect and why
When you browse
Like every website, our host's servers record basic technical logs, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. Hostinger uses these to deliver the Site, keep it secure and fix problems. We don't use them to identify you, build profiles or advertise.
Site analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used: which pages and guides people read, how they found the Site, what devices they use and roughly where they are (country and city level). This helps us decide which guides to write and improve. Google Analytics uses cookies and a random identifier in your browser to tell visits apart. It does not log or store full IP addresses. We have turned off Google Signals and ad personalization, so this data is not used for advertising, and we don't combine it with anything else we hold. Google processes it under its privacy policy, and the data is kept for 14 months.
You can block analytics with your browser's privacy settings or a content blocker, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. Everything on the Site works the same with analytics blocked.
When you use the contact form
We receive what you type: your email address (required so we can reply), and optionally your name or handle, in-game name, Discord handle, your message, guide details and whether you want credit. We also receive the page you came from, if your browser shares it. We use this only to read and reply to your message, review and publish guides you send, and fix issues you report.
The form is processed by Formspree, which receives your submission and emails it to us. Formspree handles it under its own privacy policy. Please don't put sensitive information such as passwords, account transfer codes or payment details in a message.
When you vote on the tier list
Your browser creates a random voter ID so you can change your votes later. We store that ID with your votes. To stop vote manipulation, we also store a one-way hash of your network address, made with a secret key, which can't be turned back into your IP address. That hash is only used to limit how many voters and votes come from one network, and it is erased from votes older than 30 days. Votes are anonymous; we can't tell who cast them, and we only show totals.
Data that never leaves your device
Some features save things in your browser's local storage so they work next time: decks you save in the deck builder, your tier list voter ID, and a draft of a long contact-form message so you don't lose it. This stays on your device. We can't see it, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
3. Cookies
The only cookies on the Site are Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID), used to count visits as described above. They don't track you across other websites and aren't used for advertising. We don't set any other cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own server. The contact page loads Formspree's form script from unpkg.com, a public code library service, which receives standard request information such as your IP address when it delivers the file. If you click through to Facebook, Discord or other sites, their own cookies and policies apply there.
5. Children
The Site is for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're under 13, please don't use the contact form; ask a parent or guardian to send it for you. If we learn that a child under 13 sent us personal information, we will delete it. Parents can contact us to ask for that.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete any contact-form message you sent, or to remove a guide you submitted from the Site. Use the contact form with the topic "Legal or copyright" and tell us the email you used. We'll respond within 30 days.
Because votes are anonymous, we can only find your votes using your voter ID. You can change or remove your own votes on the tier list page at any time, or clear your browser data to start fresh.
Depending on where you live, such as the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, you may have additional rights, including the right to object to processing or to complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal basis for handling contact messages is your consent and our legitimate interest in replying, for vote and server data our legitimate interest in running a secure, fair Site, and for analytics our legitimate interest in understanding which content helps players, with advertising features turned off and an easy way to opt out. We don't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
7. Security and international transfers
The Site uses HTTPS. Vote data is stored in a folder that can't be accessed from the web, and network addresses are only kept as salted hashes. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us anything you'd hate to see leaked. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
8. Changes and contact
If we add a feature that handles personal information differently, we'll update this policy and the date at the top before it goes live. Questions or requests: use the contact form. See also our Terms of use.
