1. Who we are
The Force Arena Reborn Hub at swfar.com (the "Site") is run by LordSkunk ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
2. Unofficial fan site
The Site is a free, non-commercial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Disney, Lucasfilm Ltd., Netmarble, Electronic Arts, or the Force Arena Reborn development team. Nothing on the Site is an official statement from any of them.
Force Arena Reborn is a fan-run revival of a game whose official servers closed in 2019. We don't run the game, its servers, its accounts or its downloads, and we can't help with problems inside the game itself. For those, contact the Force Arena Reborn team through their Discord.
3. Trademarks, copyright and game assets
Star Wars, Star Wars: Force Arena, and all related names, characters, logos, artwork and images are trademarks and copyrighted works of Lucasfilm Ltd. and/or their other respective owners. Card art, icons and game data shown on the Site come from the game files and remain the property of their owners. We use them only to identify cards and explain the game, for commentary, reference and community education, with no charge and no advertising.
We claim no ownership of any of that material. If you own rights in something shown here and want it changed or removed, see Copyright and takedown requests and we will act promptly.
The Site's own original text, page design and code are ours. You're welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with a link back. Please don't copy whole guides or tools to other sites without asking.
The LordSkunk name and branding belong to LordSkunk. Fonts used on the Site are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
4. The game, downloads and your account
We don't host or distribute the game. Our install help points to forcearena.net, the Reborn team's own site. Download the game only from there.
Installing apps from outside an official app store, sideloading on iPhone and running unsigned software on Windows all carry risk. You decide whether to do it, and you are responsible for your own devices, accounts and data.
We are not responsible for the game's availability, behavior, security, updates, account transfers, lost progress or any shutdown of the revival.
Never share your account transfer code. We will never ask you for it, or for any password or payment.
5. Guides, data and accuracy
Our guides, deck lists, tier list, card stats and deck builder checks are provided for entertainment and general information. Card numbers come from the game files and may not match the live game after an update. Strategy advice is opinion. We work to keep things accurate, but we don't promise that any guide, stat or deck will be correct, current or win you a match.
Tier list rankings reflect votes from visitors. They are not our opinion and are not a statement of fact about any card.
6. Acceptable use
Please don't:
Try to break, overload, scrape at high volume or probe the security of the Site or its vote server.
Manipulate the tier list with scripts, bots, fake voters or repeated votes from many browsers.
Send us anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights.
Send us spam, malware, or links to cheats, hacks or pirated software.
Pretend to be us, the Reborn team, or anyone else.
We may block access, remove votes or ignore messages that break these rules, without notice.
7. Community tier list
Voting is anonymous and free. We may reset, adjust, remove or limit votes at any time, for example to remove manipulation or to start a new season after a big game update. We may also change how rankings are calculated.
8. Guides and messages you send us
When you send a guide, deck, correction or feedback through the contact form:
You confirm it's your own work, or that you have permission to share it, and that it doesn't break any law or anyone's rights.
You keep ownership of your guide. You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to publish, edit for length, clarity and accuracy, format, translate and display it on the Site and in posts that promote the Site, such as in the SWFAR Facebook group.
If you ticked the credit box, we'll credit you by the name you gave. If you didn't, we may publish it without a name.
We don't have to publish anything, and we may remove published content at any time. If you want your published guide taken down, ask through the contact form and we will remove it from the Site.
Feedback and ideas can be used freely to improve the Site, with no obligation to you.
9. Links to other sites
The Site links to other sites and services, including forcearena.net, Discord, Facebook, and the sideloading tools mentioned in our install help. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, security, privacy practices or availability. Using them is at your own risk and under their own terms.
10. No warranty
The Site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement. We don't promise the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, LordSkunk and anyone who helps run the Site will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, game progress, accounts, devices, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, the game, or any linked site, even if we were told such damage was possible.
The Site is free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to US $50.
Some places don't allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
If you break these Terms or send us content that infringes someone's rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that result for us, including reasonable legal fees, to the extent allowed by law.
13. Copyright and takedown requests
We respect the rights of creators and rights holders. If you believe something on the Site infringes your copyright or trademark, send a request through the contact form with the topic "Legal or copyright" and include:
Your name and how to reach you.
What you own, and the page or image on the Site you're asking about.
A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, and that the information you're giving is accurate and you're the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
We aim to respond within 7 days and will remove or change material when a valid request is received. Requests from Lucasfilm, Disney, Netmarble or the Force Arena Reborn team will be handled as a priority.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in St. Joseph County, Indiana, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Before filing anything, please contact us first; most problems can be fixed quickly.
If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it. Questions? Use the contact form.
