How to play the Seventh Sister

The Seventh Sister was a fan favorite in the original game, and returning players keep asking where she stacks up. She is a fast melee Inquisitor who builds a squad of seeker droids over time and sends them all at one target. If you know how to use her, she snowballs. Here's how, with the numbers from the game files.

Numbers come from the game's own data tables: base level 1 stats, skill values and the full perk table. Reborn is early, nobody has every leader maxed yet, and the Reborn team tunes balance, so treat matchup advice as the current read and check the What's new page after patches.

Her kit, explained

  • Passive: Dangerous Droids. The Seventh Sister deploys a new ID9 Seeker Droid every 7 seconds, building up a small squad that follows her and helps her fight. The longer she stays alive, the more droids she has.
  • Skill: Command: Shock Attack (27 second cooldown). Sends every active seeker droid after one enemy to deal continuous shock damage. Fire it with a full squad on the enemy leader or a key unit.
  • Basic attack: fast attack and movement speed, and after consecutive hits she spins her double-bladed lightsaber and slashes everything around her. She can jump over obstacles, dive in and get back out.
  • Why it takes skill: her damage comes from a full droid squad. Die early and you start the squad over. Patient players who wait for a full squad before committing get the most out of her.

Perks and when they unlock

Perks unlock as the leader levels up and cost Perk Points and Credits. Leaders max out at level 8, and the fifth perk needs level 7, which is why so few players have seen a fully perked leader yet.

Game plan

  1. Defend first. Let the droids build up while you hold your side with units and your turret.
  2. Fifth Brother taunts, droids strike. Drop Fifth Brother to pull enemy fire, then send the droids in with Shock Attack.
  3. Target the leader. Shock Attack on the enemy leader is continuous damage they have to walk away from, which takes them out of the fight.
  4. Dive, spin, leave. Jump in, land the spin on grouped units, and run back before you get focused.
  5. Protect the squad. Area damage that kills the droids resets your engine. Fight where their air strikes can't catch everything at once.

Players on the SWFAR Discord say she is strong if you know how to use her. Start with a defensive shell like this one and add more aggression as you learn the timing.

How to beat Seventh Sister

  • Kill her early, kill her often. Every death resets the droid squad.
  • Area damage on the droids. Air strikes and grenadiers that hit her and the droids together wipe the squad.
  • Stun the spin. A stun grenade stops her mid dive, far from her units.
  • Don't fight Fifth Brother. Ignore the taunt where you can and hit the Sister instead.
