Anakin Unleashed
An all-organic army that hits like a truck the moment Anakin uses Untempered Rage. Rage makes Anakin immune to stuns and boosts his attack and attack speed, and his Leadership hands extra attack speed to every organic unit on the field. Build one big push, fire Rage, and run the enemy over.
Anakin SkywalkerThe deck
Era set bonus: Galactic Republic: 6 of 8 cards, so squads hit 6% harder. X values grow with your leader's level and perks.
How it wins
Kill the enemy leader with Anakin and Ahsoka during Rage, then walk Riot Clones, Clone Troopers and the Rebel Demolitionist into the turret while they respawn.
Strengths
- Every unit is organic, so Rage buffs the whole board
- Stun immunity during Rage beats control leaders like Vader, Boba and Kylo
- Cheap curve (3.00 average) lets you play every 9 seconds or so
Weaknesses
- Splash damage (Sandtrooper, TIE Bomber, Grievous) punishes clumped clones
- No air strike of your own to finish a fleeing leader
- Rage on cooldown means a weak window: don't commit during it
Card by card
| Card | Cost | Job | How to use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | Single-target damage | Rapid fire melts tanks and units that stand still. Your cheapest answer to a lone Wookiee, Dewback or droid. | |
| 2 | Burst buff | Boosts attack, attack speed and movement for organics and leaders. Stack it on top of Rage for the kill window. | |
| 3 | Main damage line | Four bodies shooting from range. Keep them behind the Riot Clones. | |
| 3 | Front line | Shielded melee; takes no damage until the shield breaks. Always the first unit into a lane. | |
| 3 | Turret breaker | Hits structures and heavy units from outside turret range. Play it only once their lane is clear. | |
| 4 | Splash | Spread shot clears swarms in front of it. Your answer to B1 Droids, Stormtroopers and Rebel Troopers. | |
| 4 | Unique, assassin | Fast lightsaber pursuer. Chases down ranged leaders and snipers. Drop her on the enemy leader during Rage. |
Game plan
First minute
- Do not dump everything. Let energy build and watch what the enemy plays first.
- Answer their first unit cheaply: ARC Trooper on a tank, Commando on a swarm.
- Walk Anakin to the edge of their turret range with your units, never ahead of them.
Win the fights
- Build a push: Riot Clones in front, then Clone Troopers, then Commando. That's 10 energy, so start at 7 or more.
- When their leader commits to the fight, fire Rage, then Hyper-Adrenal, then send Ahsoka at the leader.
- Leader down? Drop the Demolitionist and push the turret during their respawn. Remember: the leader kill also gives you energy.
2x energy and Sudden Death
- When 2x energy starts, you can afford Riot Clones plus Clone Troopers every few seconds. Double up in one lane.
- Save Rage for the moment their leader reaches your units, not for clearing squads.
- In Sudden Death, one turret wins. Put everything into the lane whose turret is lowest.
Signature combos
Clone Hammer
Riot Clones + Clone Troopers + Rage
Shield front, four shooters behind, Rage speeds all of them up. Your bread-and-butter push.
Jedi Dive
Rage + Hyper-Adrenal + Ahsoka
Two lightsabers with doubled buffs on the enemy leader. Remember units do only 35% damage to leaders, so this kill comes from Anakin and Ahsoka.
Siege
Leader kill, then Demolitionist + Riot Clones
Demolitionist outranges the turret while the Riot Clones soak its fire.
Matchups
| Against | What to do |
|---|---|
| Swarm decks (B1 Droids, Stormtroopers) | Republic Commando first, then push. Do not throw Clone Troopers into a swarm without the Commando ahead. |
| Tanks and droids (Dewback, Sentry Droid, Droideka) | ARC Trooper focuses them down. The Demolitionist also shreds heavy units, not only turrets. |
| Control leaders (Vader, Boba, Kylo) | Rage makes you stun immune. Wait for them to waste a pull or net, then Rage and collapse on them. |
| Air strike decks (Poe, TIE Fighter) | Spread your clones out. Never let all three squads walk in a single clump. |
Swaps: Demolitionist to Republic Attack Gunship against swarm decks. ARC Trooper to Wookiee Warrior for a bigger front line.
Mistakes to avoid
- Using Rage to clear a wave of squads, then having no Rage when the leader shows up.
- Sending the Demolitionist in alone. It dies to anything and only hits structures and heavies.
- Walking Anakin ahead of the Riot Clones into a turret. Turrets hit units first, so let them.
Upgrade order
- Anakin Skywalker (leader levels and perks scale everything)
- Clone Troopers and Riot Clone Troopers (Commons level fastest and they play every push)
- Ahsoka Tano
- Republic Commando
- ARC Trooper, Hyper-Adrenal, Rebel Demolitionist
