Jyn Firing Line
Jyn's Leadership boosts organic ranged units, and five of the six units here qualify, including Pao, Jyn's own Unique. Wookiee Warrior holds the lane, Pao shouts to slow anything that tries to reach your shooters, and the Dressellian Sniper hits turrets from outside their range. Built for 2v2 with a partner who protects your back line, and solid in 1v1 too.
Jyn ErsoThe deck
Era set bonus: Rebel Alliance: 6 of 8 cards, so your turrets take 8% less damage. X values grow with your leader's level and perks.
How it wins
Plant the Wookiee, build a firing line behind him, slow divers with Pao's shout, and let boosted shooters plus the Sniper grind turrets down.
Strengths
- Five units get Jyn's attack bonus
- Pao's shout slows enemy organic units and leaders before they reach your line
- Sniper and Jyn's skill both reach from long range
Weaknesses
- Tech divers ignore Pao's slow (it only hits organics and leaders)
- Splash damage on a tight firing line
- Only one real tank
Card by card
| Card | Cost | Job | How to use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | Cheap damage | Four boosted shooters. | |
| 2 | Control | Stuns organic units and leaders. Use it on a diver about to reach your shooters, or to lock a leader for Sharpshooter. | |
| 3 | Front line | 1,291 health. Walks in front so your shooters never take the first hit. | |
| 3 | Splash | Clears swarms in front of the line. | |
| 3 | Turret breaker | Huge damage from outside turret range. Play it behind the line when the lane is calm. | |
| 3 | Sturdy shooters | Two durable ranged units. The middle of your line. | |
| 3 | Unique, slow and support | Jyn's own Unique. Shoots from range and shouts to cut the attack and movement speed of enemy organic units and leaders. Boosted by Underdog. |
Game plan
First minute
- Rebel Troopers or Pathfinders first. Don't open with the Sniper.
- Use Sharpshooter to chip the enemy leader from range.
- Keep Pao for the first time a leader or melee push heads for your line.
Win the fights
- Wookiee in front, Pathfinders and Troopers behind, Grenadier and Pao in the middle.
- When their leader dives, Pao's shout slows them, then C-10 Stun locks them for the focus fire.
- Once the lane is quiet, drop the Sniper behind the line to hit the turret.
2x energy and Sudden Death
- 2x energy: refresh the Wookiee as soon as he falls.
- In 2v2, ask your partner to anchor the other lane while your line pushes.
- Sudden Death: Sniper plus Sharpshooter on the weakest turret.
Signature combos
Firing Line
Wookiee Warrior + Pathfinders + Rebel Troopers
The full line. The Wookiee soaks, both squads shoot with Jyn's bonus.
Lock and Snipe
C-10 Stun Grenade + Sharpshooter
Stun the leader, then a long-range shot while they can't move.
Slow Zone
Pao + Rebel Grenadier
Pao slows the push, the Grenadier lands every grenade on slowed units.
Matchups
| Against | What to do |
|---|---|
| Melee divers | Pao's shout plus C-10. In 1v1, swap the Sniper for Talz Marauders. |
| Splash decks | Spread the line wider, and focus their Sandtrooper or Grenadier first. |
| Droid decks | Pao can't slow tech. Swap the Grenadier for Rebel Demolitionist. |
| Air strike decks | Don't stack every shooter in one spot. |
Swaps: Against droid decks, Rebel Grenadier to Rebel Demolitionist. In 1v1, Dressellian Sniper to Talz Marauders for more cheap defense.
Mistakes to avoid
- Playing the Sniper into a contested lane.
- Using C-10 on squads when a diver is coming.
- Leaving Pao at the very front where he dies before shouting.
